We have good news from Larry and Cathy Helms.

Their daughter, Candi, will be starting her chemo therapy on November 9 for the cancer cells that she has.

BUT the doctors can no longer find the mass they had found previously!!! God did it! Thank you for praying! The doctor was indeed befuddled! God says that he confounds the wise so He can be glorified. Don’t you love it when He shows His muscle?

Do continue to pray for Candi and to praise the Lord for His mercy and grace.

Dear Ones,

Please pray for LaWanda Hynum and her mom, Reba, who lives with her. Reba took a fall last night and sustained some cuts and hit her head. This has been very stressful for LaWanda, and it affects her health (blood pressure, etc.). Thank the Lord (and thank LaWanda!) for her beautiful music, too! Be sure to encourage her every chance you get!

We have received a notice from one of our church members to put Samantha on our prayer list. She is only 6 years old and the family has just been told she has leukemia. She lives in Arizona. Please pray for this family as they face a rough road ahead. Pray the doctors will know what to do for her and they will feel the peace of God through this.

I am requesting prayer for my friend, Jill, in NJ.  She has been told there are “lumps” in both of her breasts that are suspicious.  She goes on Friday for tests.  Jill is a Christian.  Please pray for healing and strength.  Thank you for what God will do through this “valley”.

  God is sooooo good!  The tests revealed one lump!!!  It will be aspirated on Oct. 27, but, they’re almost sure it isn’t cancer!!!!  Thank you for praying:)

Will you please lift my mom Vicki up in prayer?  She is going through a horrible time of pain in her neck and throughout her shoulders.  I just talked to her on the phone and even though she saw Dr. Rueben this morning he offered nothing but “you will have to ride this out”.  I know the mighty prayer warriors we are blessed with throughout our church and would appreciate some help.  Her phone number is 757-3812 if anyone wants to call and offer her some support.  Thanks and I love you all.

My family and I would like to thank you for your support during the past few months of my mother’s illness and passing. The flower arrangement was gorgeous and the cards were loving and uplifting. But more than these your prayers are truly appreciated and God has answered them. Although her passing was unexpected and devastating, she has been healed and will live eternally, so we praise His name through our grief. We continue to lean on Him and trust Him as He teaches us to accept the unacceptable. Please continue your prayers, as we cherish them dearly. God is good—all the time. Thank you again.
